Version 319295 is now live on PC/Steam:
  • M17/SCAR-H Challenge info visible/fixed
  • SCAR-H Iron sight Achievement fixes
  • Fixed a "heavy door" asset in the editor, which would cause crashes.
  • Multiple Champion skin unlock fixes
  • Bad Day at the Office achievement is now achievable

    Beware, the Steam description of "Bad Day at the Office" is incorrect.

    The AA website has them correctly: get 5 or less kills AND 15 or more deaths. (I don't know if you need to play the entire duration of the match.)

    Can server owners have this before the update goes out please some don't use facebook.

    I don't think many companies worry about forums as much any more. Most use twitter and fb for notifications now. However I would send in your request here. https://www.americasarmy.com/support/game-technical

    If its a matter of backing up your ini. As a former server owner (clan leader) I would always make sure that all of my ini were had a backup saved. However it can also be complicated to use a release date at times. Sometimes something goes wrong and a update will go prolonged.

    However I do feel your pain. I agree with you that the update should be posted ahead on ALL social medias that AGS takes charge in. But I would make the former complaint at the link.

    The previous update was named : "AAPG_full_20191221"
    Is this new version got a other name? Just like "AAPG_full_20201013" ?

    Since this update when our server is almost full or full it kicks all players when changing maps anyone else having this problem.

    maps struggle to load compared to before

    Are they getting kick on stock maps or UMM's? If it's UMM's, that's been happing for long time now. For some reason, it's not loading the shader chache file for the map, So it either kicks you back to the many or it crashes your game, mostly crashes.

    Stock maps and only when we have a full server it kicks all players and when you try to rejoin it says kicked for 2 minuets duplicate guid.

    When the server is full and it changes maps "official maps" the count down timer stops and kicks all players with the kick line Duplicate GUID/CDKEY we then cannot rejoin for 2 minutes.
    This has only been happening since the last update.

    Good god DELTON, you are a staff member of ACI you should know the basics of PB. After this last update, from what I've seen the servers map load times are decreased at least for me. Even the restart of a server is faster then it used to be. Normally when I restarted a server you get that voice chat time out and then get booted of the server, now it shows the message two times and tells me it reconnected with out kicking me off the server at all.. Switching maps disconnects people, this is probably why it kicks for Dub GUID because of the fast reconnects and PB not having enough time to realize they were disconnected.

    Edit: Just so we clear, didn't test the PB part of the fast map switch / server restarts yet.

    But you should have known how to fix these kicks and those 2 min timers,
    just change the settings to;

    pb_sv_GuidRelax 7
    pb_sv_KickLen 0

    That setting does not resolve the problem ever one still gets kicked but just don.t get message with that setting.

    Well those PB messages are normal, I see them everytime on map switches.. So don't think it's anything related with PB. The countdown timer being stuck, usually on 35 has been happening since two updates back on most servers, haven't seen anything that fixes it so far so.

    We have never had this problem before i know it happens a lot when umm's are switching but this is happening on official maps i think you missed the point i am not talking about punkbuster it has nothing to do with that this has only been happening since the last update and it only happens when the server is full and it switches maps "official maps".

    Have you tried to switch up the timings, maybe a possible fix?
    This is what we use, and we don't have the issue anymore.

    BeginningOfRoundDelay=8
    SwapRoundDelay=8
    EndOfGameDelay=8

    EDIT: Oh and these are with in [AAGame.AAGameMultiplayerBase].

    The server is not crashing because its still switching maps its just we all get kicked and again it is happening on stock maps and only when server is full.

    Hey,


    Delton is right... i have put in a ticket at our provider EoR. They told me they asked the Devs about this but still waiting response.


    It happens when server is full and on flo. normally it takes 30 sec for map swap. when all players loose connection its says 35 and not counting down.

    Delton is right we cant change any ini file regarding this. i even deleted the steamapp map en updated the server again. still happens.

    Yes i got same response from my provider.

    After working with a few clients, we were unable to find a fix. We're reached out to the dev team and have yet to receive a response.
