During Escort/Extract missions with the VIP, the game will count it as a win for the Escort Team if the VIP touches the objective. This means that a player could clearly kill the VIP before the player his/herself gets to the objective, but if the VIP's dead body touches the objective, it's still considered a win.
If you attempt to secure the VIP when he's right by the extraction/objective, and the VIP's body touches the extract during this animation, the game will count it as a win for the Escort team.
