FPS Drop
i7 8700k
gtx 1080 ftw
Evo SSD samsung
windows 10
ben q-144hz 1080p monitor
CPU and GPU are watercooled. GPU doesn't get past 30c when the issue happens. CPU is around 40c
Game runs fine for a bit. Sometimes it happens after a few games. Sometimes it takes a while to start happening. I feel like it might be related to me alt+tabbing out of the game. Usually happens quicker when alt+tabbing. Usually run at 144 FPS solid. When the drops happen my FPS will go down to about 50...if I continue to play it will go down to 15 and be unplayable. If I close game and re open it runs fine for a while again
Also important to note this is a fresh install of windows on a fresh built computer. I just built this computer and the only thing I am using from the old build is the GPU.
Things I've tried....
Multiple AA settings
Changed pre rendered frames from auto to 4 in nvidia CP for americas army.
Changed power management mode to prefer maximum performance in nvidia cp
Probably gonna try rolling back to previous drivers till I find one that works if nobody has suggestions.
Also I've seen the sticky up top and none of it helped.
Any suggestions?

May be related to W10.
Disabled full screen optimization
Tried to revert to an older driver....my friend has the same card and it works fine in game....no dice
I feel its a windows issue. Any other suggestions?
This doesn't make much sense for my current situation. CPU is at 100. These are steps people with average to low end computers would take. I should have no problem running this game. Other games run like butter on this pc.

THE SETUP I HAVE SHOWN FOR NVIDEA WORKS IN ALL GAMES
also make sure recording in xbox app is off
The problem doesn't seem to be on 1 or 2 guys, but from what I have been told a lot... The game, after this last update, seems to be/feel laggy and/or fps drop or 2 much package loss.
Its very very weird and of course crappy.
Can you guys please take a look at it? If you need logs from my server just let me know and I will share them with DEV guys to help.
Thanks
Looked it over ....... so didnt try it then . .. ... how can you narrow it down if you dont try other things first . I will tell you something ....... no matter what nvidea card you run . That setup will improve your game . Everyone who has followed it has had a plus experience.

with the settings from my guide this rig clips out at 201 fps on quite a few maps .
although i do experience the some frame loss if i stand and shoot at a wall or clip a window edge whilst shooting its more than playable .
The type of graphics card has no affect on the steps I recommended. My advice will continuously keep your computer running at full power.
I have the same problem
My normal FPS is 150, after a match (25 rounds), the FPS drops to 20 ~ 30
I close game and re open it runs fine again, and the FPS drops again
I've tried everything to fix it, without success
