Auto Login Still Not Working

I looked but didn't see a dev comment on this. Seems to be a problem for most users. Any chance we'll see a fix?

    It resets. Open the game and uncheck the Auto login. then log in and log out and restart steam. Then this time when you open the game add your pw and click in the auto login and sign in. Exit the game. Then restart the game. If you did it correctly it will now auto log you in when you open the game. If not follow the steps carefully.

    1. open steam & game
    2. uncheck auto login then log in.
    3. Close game & steam.
    4. Open steam & Game
    5. Put pw in 1st then click on the auto login box.
    6. Login
    7. Exit game
    8. Open game back up

    After you do this it will work for a bit of time however it will reset after some time. Could be due to a update or due to a safety feature. However once it rests just take 60 secs and do this again. It really is not a huge deal as other try to make it out to be. I mean I do it myself and I understand long pws lol. My pw is a long phase I personally like. :P

    Again its not a total fix. I think, what ever it is that is capping this from being able to do it every time does in fact need a fix. However this has been a bug posted about for a LONG time. This just happens to be the only way to avoid it every time. I Did mine last week and just last night I had to do it all over again. I Really do hope that we can get a fix on this since this topic does come up often.

    It was after a update for a long time ago the auto login was bugged. Until that update auto login was perfect since closed beta.
    My original nick is -Ner0-
    It's now banned after the
    latest update.

    dont use autolog in, its not that great as at times the token will expire during a session and cause issues

    I don't think this will ever be fixed. Known issue since 1991 and no Dev input. I'd rather them focus on the game, but it is an annoying issue that bothers me every time I play.
