Issues with lag

Devs really needs to do something about their servers because they're constantly having issues with lag for people. It's getting worse, too. I'll have one game with around a 50 ping and then the next it'll be 180. I've checked my connection and it's fine.

Ping is by location. All servers have a location. The ping does not change to 1 particular server. If you join a server and your ping is 50 it will flux around the 50. However if you on the same server and it goes from 50 to 140 then that is on your end. Yes you might be connected so there is no issue being connected. But there is something that is getting in the way of making your connection strong.

Also if your using WIRELESS it can be choppy. I always plug in with a ecord for best results. WHile you are playing there are many programs that can disrupt your ping. Such as..
    -Razor core
    -Xsplit
    -Open broadcast software
    -gdip service 64bit
    -D3DGear

If your not running any of these then watch this vid and go over the steps.

Allright - I can vouch for what Termite says.
The "U.S Army Official The Great Outdoors" has been laggy for days now, never was before - it laggs even if I got a normal ping >100 - I think the server needs a restart - infact Every U.S Army Official Server should have a 24h restart so It allwayes runs smooth.
No admins has visited this server for weeks as far as I know and It's allmost useless and even so It's allways full (The server is that popular).

Devs - pls give me the admin rights, or someone else who spends alot of time there, we need the experience of playing on an official server to be as flawless as possible....

I play on the US Official servers I do not have this issue. I know many others that play on these servers regularly aside from Beta Testers and Devs and they also have no issue on the server. It may need a restart, not saying it does not however till then try these methods.

I just played in the eu server.
    Had rubberbanding (teleporting small distances)
    ping 60
    ms 16
    fps solid 60

I always play here without this issue, but now i don't.

Im on my own server, having a constant ping of 24 and playing with "locals". Then, like yesterday evening, some eastcoast yankee joins with a ping of 120 + a guy from SA with a ping of 180. My ping goes up to ~50.

Now,please explain... How do i get this people out of my house?! Since the problem is on my end they have to dig a tunnel through the globe and connect somehow to my router... this kind of internet-piracy should be illegal and forbidden.

    AAPG is good!

There is sumthing wrong lately with lag/rubberbanding even if i have a halfways good ping ~50ish on different EU servers. Like Nades from me going off seconds to late in one than more case, other players warping around. I checked my connection and it was stable, had good ping D/L Rate and no packetloss, so im quite sure the problem is not coming from my end

The route to a server can play a part. There is all kinds of hardware and processing going on besides the AAPG client and server. Look up the topic of "jitter."

We'll take a look at the server logs and see if it is a resource issue.
The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

if i feel connection issues i always check my connection with -> https://sourceforge.net/speedtest/
There were no abnormalities , also not with jitter

    Nice :)

Can you schedule a restart of the server each night or something like it?

    Thanx in advance

just got dumped out of outdoors us, sever was lagging bad and then after half an hour it dumped every one. I have had this issue for a long long time but every time there is a post on this topic its mostly taken up by a certain some one who doesn't see the issue but just needs to add his 2 cents, and then 2 more and then 2 more. this game lags, if it does not for you stop trying to convince others that the problem is non existent. I have a 300/25 Mbit connection in toronto canada, and should not be getting this lag on any us official. maybe we should show the pings in the player list so we can see what others are playing at, might help to pinpoint the issue.
