I suggested this in another thread but it was ignored which only means one thing. I did not say it LOUD ENOUGH so here is its own personal dedicated thread.
Now that we have weapon skins/camo in the game how about we have a community competition to design a new weapon skin that can be unlocked. Either in photos hop paint or on pen and paper. Just another little community driven competition like before.

Then unfortuantely.. I would have had to settle for my M4 with a polka dot, rainbow colored flavor.
Well now I'm going to be incredibly disappointed if this doesn't happen.
It could work if they look professional, but as joked about above I sure don't want to sew pink polka dot guns in this game.
Doubt the army would allow weird looking/colored skins. Almost certain that a skin competition would have some basic rules regarding colors and pattern.
Then compare this camo pattern to a more artistic take on the color scheme as an example of how a reskin doesn't need to be particularly disruptive.
I think a skin with the WWI-era Naval camo, the "Dazzle" pattern, would manage to both have the CS-style visual impact while still being a nod at military history:
If it happens.. I'd rather (try and) make a ghillie type skin for M24, with grass dangling from it, to help the bush campers.
I can't wait.
That's called 1940's stealth.
