  My Auto login seems to be working fine. I wonder because I personally thought this was fixed. How many people still have this problem? I mean that it should really be a big deal to type in a password lol. But I get that it should be functional.

  My password is 24 letters symbols and numbers long its annoying but I have only had this since the authentication issue.

  I will ask the members in a few forums as well to see if there are a lot of players that still have the issue. Just so I can get a rough idea. Then I will bug it again.

  I havent been able to autologin for months. I'm wondering if I need to tweak my user.ini file so that I can automatically log in. Putting in my password each time is (for some reason) getting more annoying...

  Yes and no, if you tick the auto login it will save a "token" on your pc, its only valid for a set time(that i dont remember).
  So if you play fairly often it will work(mostly), but if the time limit is exceeded you need to retype your password.

  It has never, ever worked for me. It's not so bad if I open the game manually...but what I'd really consider an essential feature is the ability to join friends from my Steam using Join Game function...but nah.

  Auto-login sometimes works for me as well. Usually not.

  That method worked for me. Logged out and back in and nothing. Not working again.

  Doogle are you saying you are unable to join in a game when you go to your steam friends and then selectin Join Game??

  The problem is that the game will open and join the server, but you'll be kicked for not being logged in to an AA account. Then you have to login and reconnect to the server.
