Do you mean Global Internet Server or just LAN Server?

It is extremely tricky (for me anyway...) to write a comprehensive guide that will apply to all attempts at server creation on all hardware setups by all skill levels of network knowledge. It "SHOULD" be easy....but it's not.

The Host A Server tool was 'supposed' to bridge that gap, but it doesn't really.

    Both.
Play with friends online and even LAN.
    Thank you.

Are you trying to create a server at home behind a router?

Have you registered for a global server with the AAPG team? You don't 'need' to, you can still run a server and have people join, but if you do, then you can get official scoring and I think listing in the server browser?

To create a server at home, the Host A Server tool still has basic functionality to get a server up and running. You'll need to know how to open up the ports in your router via Port Forwarding or what have you.

These are the ports I have open for my server on my laptop:

    7778 UDP
    7779 UDP
    7780 UDP
    8765 UDP
    8778 UDP
    9987 UDP
27000 to 27030 TCP and UDP

No. When you click "PLAY" in Steam you get the choices for Play, Server or Editor...

You haven't played this game a few days? ;)
Now you doesn't have those options, you go strait to Play.

Edit: I see you are in this thread too, so I don't know.

When I start the game now I got no options like I did before.
