Question regarding weapons

  Also I get that its only standard issued weapons but honestly there's more then m16s ,m4s,1911s,m9s,m24s,m14s in the military that they use daily that could be added to the game I've played aapg on and off for about a year or 2 now and I'm getting very bored of the same weapon selections. I mean adding larger weapon selections may even help bring more players to the game or keep the new players around longer.

  The short answer, no they most likely won't add new weapons. Sure there are more than those weapons in the military. But I wouldn't say more than 20% of the ARMY uses weapons other than the standard issue, of course the argument could be "where the 240B, 50 cal, etc most Units have" But I do not think those would be great additions to the game as the maps we currently have would barely support that type of gameplay. That is not to say there is never an opportunity, but it is almost meaningless to ask for more weapons on the notion of "the army has more".
  
  If they ever put a focus into a future game (either AA5 or similar platform) I would hope they bring back many of the elements in AA2 that they had, such as weapon variety, but not to the extent of being COD or Battlefield where a server of 24 could all literally be different primary weapons. Asking for more is not always the best option, however having the variability of even "SF" weapons could be beneficial. My only theory on why they couldn't have had more weapons in AAPG is simply an "IDK, maybe they really didn't have the resources/ didn't want to use more resources in the creation and maintenance of the game".
  
  Everyone gets bored of a game eventually, it has less to do with the "suggestions for a fix" and actually starting with a solid player base. Coming from AA3, AAPG was in many aspects the hope of AA2 players. For AAPG to be more successful it had to please the old school players and introduce something refreshing to attract more players, and want to be a part of a community/competitive scene. Although it didn't help that the release of this game seemed more like opening a gift and putting it to the side as far as PR to gamers/recruits and the minimalist approach on updating the game.

  I'm not asking for a cod or battlefield variety of weapons and trust me battlefield is one of my favorite fps but even I hate how large of a variety that there is in battlefield ...but something different to use would be great I mean even picking up AKs from dead enemy's is starting to get a little old which I'll never understand how the players you kill guns change from m4s and m16s to ak105s and 107s. When they die in the first place...All I'm saying is adding a variety is what a lot of players have been asking for so why dont the devs listen and instead of adding player made skins add something that will actually help the game for once..Bug fixes,new maps ,new camos are great but there's other reasons this game has a low player base that could be fixed as well ....its just my opinion but I'm sure there's players out there that would agree with some of the things I've said.
  
  AA2 was great I don't know what happen after that but aa3 was a disappointment and aapg although I still think there's hope for this game but it is somewhat starting to become a dissappointment mostly due to the lack of content ,variety and the lack of motivation to make this game better by the devs Once again just my opinion.

  I just want a variety using the same guns gets boring after awhile I enjoy aapg cause of it the need to use tactics to win games and be successful but at the same time using the same weapons get old. Or at least add attachments for weapons a change would be great is all I am saying .
