Snow? You must be referring to the original map. I never understood why they did that because the idea was to gain entrance into the complex. So, very little fighting took place outside in the snow.

There are several good remakes in Steam Workshop. I use to play Maclobster’s a lot before open release. Faithful to the original where it was important but with some nice improvements.

I played pretty much only pipeline in aa3 then got to play a remake in some cup once. It was incredibly awful, especially the doors were disappointing. Maclobster's ideas sounded really nice, never tested the map but I'd recommend that over the "original-copy" remakes.

Pipeline was indeed a great map (AA2)
But what made it so great was the different type of weapons, the way the sound worked, and the doors. Oh, but I really loved how the objective was either the valves or the main control panel.

I never really played AA3, but SF was awesome... the snow was awesome. The sound, the tactics, the objectives... all-nighter s were awesome. Would love to see a DEV remake. I know Mclobsters is cool, but Pipeline was like hospital, it had a HUGE following. A DEV remake would be very very cool.

Mac's is fine, just need it to be officially included as a Dev map (with proper objective sounds). It still stands that only a very small percentage of people want to mess with custom maps.
