New connection and problems...

Hello,

Yesterday i moved from 7MB/0.5MB connection to 100MB/20MB, a good change i would say.
Well, speedtest was fine, every settings were ok, but everytime i try to join a server it takes like 3-4 minutes to join, and in the meantime the connection crashes untill i close the game or i join in the server. I tried everything, reinstalling the game, firewall off, (no antivirus on my pc) but nothing changed. Bad thing is that only aapg give me this problem, i tried csgo and works perfectly.
Any solutions?

    Nothing, tried both things but didnt change anything, still need to wait at least 1-2 minutes to join in a server since i click on it, plus my internet in those 1-2 minutes doesnt work at all untill im in the server or leave the game...

    Well, as i said before i have no kind of antivirus on my pc. But i think i have automatically online the windows defender, so im gonna try to put every single hard disk partition of my pc in the exceptions and i'll try again, hope to give u good news, thanks. :wink:

    (Do it right after you crash( or get kicked and exit the game) as the file gets overwritten each time you play.)

    Maybe i explained bad the problem, i never got crash, the things go like this:

    I start the game, go to the server list, find a server, double click on it to join, and now on the problems, i click on it and nothing happen untill 30sec-40sec-1m-2m to wait untill i start joining the server (its random the time that take to join in), and in those moments (right after i click on the server) if i put the game in window mode and try to go on internet, the web doesnt work, saying no connection (but actually the connection is working, in my other pc works great in those moment aswell).

    Btw, i tried to copy/paste my log file, but its too big for the text box i guess...

    I see two connection attempts, but it looks like you waited just one second before exiting the game. When I've seen it before, the game sit for about 60 seconds before it finally connects.

    Well, i've already opened all the ports on my router (At least i tried), so dont think that calling my provider could change the situation. Can u maybe tell me all the ports aapg uses so i can try opening them manually?
    Because on my router port mapping i opened them generally, like steam games, directx games, counter strike ports etc.

    I would start the game in a window. Then I would open a command prompt and would initiate a continuous ping command command to the server your trying to connect to.

    ping -t 178.63.126.59

    Then I would try to connect to the server. What your looking for is does the ping command continue or time out when running. If the ping continues then I'd say you have something blocking the connecting ports the game requires to play. If the ping times out then I'd say you have something blocking your outbound connection completely. If you are able to eventually connect and play, the issue would most likely be a port issue. You could also use a telnet client to test and see if the ports are open or closed from your pc. You can do this from a command prompt as well. The telnet client is not installed by default in windows now but can be added in add / remove windows compents of the programs and features of windows.

    If the cursor sits and blinks, the port is blocked. If the screen goes from a prompt to a black screen, the port is open. You would have to run the telnet command for each port instance the game server and game requires to play.

    Hello, i did your steps about pinging the server i was trying to join, and ping was still working while trying to join the server. Actually its weird, i can ALWAYS join servers, just need to wait some random time (from 10 sec to 2 min), and sometimes i can join immediately as it was with old connection... Could that be a modem router problem? I heard on internet that alot of people talks bad about the modem router they sent me with the new connection contract...

    PS: Dont really think its a ports problem, i've opened almost all the ports from the router settings, and as i said sometimes i can join normally as it was with my old connection...

    EDIT: Well, i just tried to ping another server i was trying to join, and after right click on the server, tried to ping it on the cmd, and after the first line, all the rests of them were timed out... :neutral:

    3. Launch AAGame.exe
    4. Open the console by pressing the tlde key (~)
    5. In the console type open 178.63.126.59:7778

    the 7778 is the default game port and varies by server

    Keep in mind you will get kicked from the server but does the server connect happen immediately or does it take just as long to connect?
