they need to patch this stupid prone glitch where you can sprint while in prone and you cant here there foot steps

    Considering you used to be able to activate this bug by typing "doprone" in the console our devs have come a long way. So we need to be patient and let them do their magic work. My best guess of how to fix this booger is simply to remove the ability to go prone. It seems like the most obvious band aid fix and would certainly prevent abuse while making players happy.

    Need to remove crouching too in that case since it happens with that too. People just don't notice it as much.

    Another bandaid fix is to TK the guy doing the exploit ..if he complains..do it again

    I am usually against tkilling on our servers, but the other day we had this 1 guy, kept coming back and trying it over and over again and 1 of the players asked if he could tkill him, I said sure go ahead before the ban..

    this is how much I cant stand prone glitch users :)

    While I experienced this behaviour as well it wasn't the reason that time. He had 2 or 3 teammates sitting in the team so I was gone in like 5 seconds. He must have been really mad, wish I heard it. Then said team signs up for aapgversus. Way too much scum around in this community.

    I caught a guy doing this prone-run on a Private Server yesterday but only for the first 2 feet of his crawl so I wonder if it's a multiple keystroke issue that can happen to anyone?

    Yes, you can trigger it without intending to and there's no way for you to know you've done it since everything will look perfectly normal on your client.

    Prone glitch meh..

    Check out @[CLS]_SgtMac in this video rocking it like he's drank a gallon of booze before the mission, this was at 2am my local time, kids and wife tucked up in bed.. it had me in stitches, and when he makes the Roarrgghh! sound, that was it.. tears rolling down my face, its a good thing I don't got a mic haha! I had to go to spectate after and splash my face with cold water..

    If my trollery drives you crazy, you'd better put on your seatbelt.

    It can very easily be done on accident. Lay down at the wrong time while sprinting and suddenly you appear prone to everyone except yourself. Anyone who doesn't know what to look for won't even know that they are in a bugged state.
