What type of map of would you like to see?

As in the title,

what type of map would you like to see added after Overload for official rotation?

Would it be full on CQC on streets like many we have now, maybe some mid-range action with few stories high buildings like Steamroller, mountain/woods like in Mountain Ambush/ Mountain Pass? Or a open map with some CQC areas separated from each other (like Border?)

I would definitely opt for something more open. that would test both your long range accuracy, moving from cover to cover (rather than corner picking) and with some urban area for objective sites.

    CSAR 2, Extraction, Pipeline...But seems impossible, i don't understand why they don't want to bring back some old maps. So many people want it...

    For me as a competitive player would be a small map really good, something like AA3 Impact, the current 6v6 maps are really good and I enjoy everyone of them (except Lockdown :disappointed:)

    But Pipeline is a must for a comeback map...

    <p>Alley, Impact and Ranch are also great AA3 maps, that should not be forgotten.

    To me CSAR2 should be added simply because it's a polished map and a complete remake rather than a port.

    AA2 maps are tough because many of them just won't play the same as they did back in those days. It would be nice if the Devs launched a mapping contest to remake your favorite classic AA map (AA2/AA3). Rules being that it has to be an original work rather than a port. Changes can also be made to the original design as desired. As part of this CSAR2 would be added by default.

    It would draw interest in ways that a regular mapping contest wouldn't.


    Beyond that. I would hope that the Devs would make more original maps. Any remakes can be provided by the community.
    1. First, a CQB oriented map that works well both 6v6 and 12v12 (not super easy).
    2. Another map to be an outdoor terrain dominated map (since we have none at this point).

    Awwww yeah, like how it was able in AA2/AA3 to choose which spot to start to punish the enemy by tactics.

    <p>Beside the fact that the AA Pipeline version creates a lot of good matches in AA:PG, there already 2 reinterpretated version. I didn't play it with many players until now, but I think they are worth a try.:</p>

    Something similar to Alley map in AA3. Urban, plenty of locations to hide and move from as well as three main route of access to complete OBJ (Extraction/VIP).

    SF Extraction would also be fun.

    examples of objectives types and map design and weapon loadouts:
    - mout, pipe, hq raid, icamp, urban, sandstorm, border, dusk, csar, courtyard.
    -
    features:
    - doors to nerf zerg tactics and create teamwork-based breaching, actual cqb battles,
    - m203 to prevent/delay enemy rush spawn left right and center,
    - no sprinting while reloading,
    - no red blips on minimaps for enemy gunfire,
    - listen to grenade pins and enemy shouts,
    - 8v8 hosted option to reduce overcrowding lanes and general TDM zerging,
    - jump over prone players
    - can hear everything without muffling/drowning
    - can see (no blur) when being shot at
    - can see (no screen shake) when frag goes off in separate room/floor
    - can see (no white screen) when flash is not directly in line of sight
    - take longer to "lose health" from bleeding but take longer to self-bandage,
    - take longer to pull out weapon after doing an action
    - not possible to frag common areas from complete safety.

    Altan did an outstanding job porting all the old AA2 maps to aapg. But.....
    I would like to see all new high def textures and assets replacing the old AA2 maps. The detail in the opt-in was a step in the right direction as far as bringing that old AA2 feel back. That said, bringing back the AA2 maps restyled and updated would be outstanding!
    I can speak for my clan as far as saying that new aapg players and even those that only played aa3....You missed out on 1,000's of hours of great gameplay on those classic AA2 maps and I would bet that if you did end up playing them you would fall in love as we all did !!!

    Re-designed and re-adapted Pipeline akin to how Hospital was introduced from AA2 to AAPG. We absolutely need a map to rival (Inner) Hospital, and I believe the challenger will be Pipeline.
