Great job devs! I can't wait for the media blitz!
It's been a long time coming and I am glad we are going official release!
One question for server owners, what time will it be released so we can get things up and running?
Any possible release notes for server owners with changes?

What about the open beta players who do not read the forums? Neat surprise.

Every time they start the game there are news popups. Not sure you can do any more than that...

I'm told that only "mature" folks use email anymore (according to my kids).

That is what I meant. After playing it for two years, you suddenly see a popup, never expecting it.
Neat surprise. I never said it was bad.

Then let another kid (me) tell you that younger people tend to skip stuff easily. When I uploaded my first video of the opt-in I had 2 comments asking about how I'm playing a different version (usually noone comments on basic videos like that one).

According the email method: WIth smartphones syncing emails there is a good possibilty that people read that, especially when they see it's from AAPG and after not receiving any other emails from that address.

Maybe they wanted us to prove ourselves as players rather than douchebags though. Slowly going deeper..

I think that a lot of people overlook the fact that AA2 evolved over a period years maybe 10 or so years and it was one of the best games ever . Maybe we all need to be more patient and most importantly more involved to provide solutions rather than negative comments.
Anyone can go buy a game off the shelf , so I say to all the nay sayers , grow a pair and get involved , if your not part of the solution than you are part of the problem!

Because people care about the workshop in AAPG. Can be the best work but it doesn't matter as long as noone notices it.

As a sidenote: You probably noticed by now how much being serious and stating personal opinions in here matters. Have a great day!
