I'm not the best at this stuff, but.....Because of some of the things going on here, the first thing I'll ask is what Operating System are you running?

Windows 10 is the problem persists. I think the graphics card is good enough to move that game, when moving in ultra me gta v, Far Cry 4 ..... there will be some settings that I do not know?

If your new 290 runs other games fine then it might be a unique issue plaguing AAPG. I have the same card and I'm able to maintain 120 fps' in most situations. There might be an issue where AAPG is being ran/stuck in 2D mode clocks and thus the jerky on screen movements when running game. I had this happen to me on bad drivers. Install a program like MSI afterburner to see if AAPG is pushing clock speeds to max (3Dmode).

It would also help us if you list your setup. CPU, MOBO, SSD/HDD ect..

Hardware is fine. Report back after you test to see if AAPG is running at max clock speeds using a program like MSI Afterburner.

    Some questions:
    • What driver are you using?
    • Did you OC the GPU?
    • Did you OC the RAM?
    • Did you OC the CPU?
    • Did you attempt to flash the BIOS? (Do not do this; just want to make sure you didn't)
    • Does this happen in any other game? Try Battlefield 3/4 if you have them; they are great stability testers!
    • What temps do you reach when playing? (RealTemp or other programs like MSI Afterburner will help you)

Delete the whole folder config folder for the game (make a backup if you wish) after turning off the game client and then reopen AA:PG. It should bring you to a windowed mode. From there, reset your graphics settings and test the game while MSI Afterburner or RealTemp/etc runs in the background. Alt-tab to them and check temps and speeds mid-game, especially before the problem and then after it occurs.

If you haven't done so yet, uninstall previous graphics drivers, reboot and then install this driver for your card: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+10+-+64

Also install the latest drivers for your motherboard:
    http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3891#dl

And any other driver. Reboot after installing them. Now open MSI Afterburner and reset the graphics card, to make sure you do not have an unstable OC. The default skin should read the reset button off as "reset". Then hit apply (if need be) and then test your game, keeping an eye on temps and speed with the programs listed.

If the problem persists, please write down the base temp, before gaming, and the temps before the problem and then the temps after the problem/during the problem. As well as the speed of the card.

I have never even heard of his brand of PSU, so that is probably the reason for sure.

well i do know a bit about tacen mars (eu company) its a bit cheaper (costwise) than most mid range brands .. but if we talk about quality its actually really poor. But that couldnt be the problem since he already said he can run other games just fine.. (gta v for example)
    This may sound stup** but ive seen this before;
check if high performance is set for AA Profile (CCC)

you seem to post on every thread whether you know or not?

Make sure your gfx card and cpu temps are staying good amd and NVidia both have the ability to lower clock speeds to reduce temps which could possibly be cause your issue. also make sure you have your windows and bios settings to performance and not power saving mode. gl hope you get her running smooth..

I have amd cpu and I had an issue in windows 10 that did that so reverted back to windows 7 I thought it was the network driver but wasn't for sure.

    Hey, that's pretty funny, Wonky.

I know we have seen issues with Win 10 and also with R9 cards, but I'm not the graphics guru around here.

I will say it's nice to feel noticed though. Thanks!

Just like with stress testing, no software will perform alike. But it doesn't necessarily mean it isn't the issue. However, we could provide further assistance if he can give us a bit more information. :)

If he plays other games fine then its not his psu. this game uses 30% cpu and 50 gfx card so no way its uses more power in this game then another. check your power settings as this game uses very little resources and tends to allow throttling.
