I have written about these microfreezes in that other topic (topic name : freezing ). So far I have ruled out pbss taking and my hardware as culprits. It could be NV software but note that I had these even with my Radeon 6870 (stock) just as I have them now with GTX 960. Also people with i5/i7 have these too so it's not my Athlon X4 750K CPU (tried both stock and OC, same issue).

Here is copy/paste of my reply from other topic:
I have GTX 960 and no matter what (stock / OCed) and no matter the driver version, I get the freezes if I continue playing for another match. So if I exit the game after match is over and join the same server yet again, I can play without issues again another match (usually if round count is not something huge like best of 30). If I don't exit the game and let it restart with the server coming up again, then I get these microfreezes which basically destroy the gameplay as everything is stuttering every few seconds . This is painfully obvious when observing friendlies moving next to me as they stop at the moment of microstutter and continue moving normally after that. It's very annoying issue.

It has to do with the length of time during which I have open instance of aagame. If it's more than one match it's starts micro-freezing every 3 seconds. On the stat unit graph it's showing up as a slight jolt upwards ( from say 11.5ms to 15ms) during which time the game just stops for this fraction of a second. It's like driving a car that is constantly hiccuping every few seconds... It's not a fluid drive but a very annoying experience where it's making you want to just stop driving it. Same goes for the game. The only remedy I have found is to just exit the game after the match is over and re-join again. This doesn't help when the game runs for a long time (best of 25+) in which case the hiccuping starts at around ~25minutes mark and then I'm stuck until the match is over.

Last note about OS. It could be an OS issue as I have Win 8.1 Pro and some people reported that going back to Win7 helped them regarding this issue. I'm not willing to downgrade my legal copy of Win8 just because of one game... Win10 is just around the corner so hopefully new game version and new Windows will work better than this "thing" we have now.

Very good description of the issue, exactly how I experience it every 1,5 secs tho.
My new hardware seems to have reduced the freezes/stutters, but still there..

I also have win 8.1 pro , so it might be something there, I've co sidered reinstalling my OS, since I have a laptop with same OS but no issues..

I will do this tonight and report back if it fixed the problem..

demon you should really try my settings and turn anti alaising ingame to fast level 6. If you don't want to try then atleast do this. Thread optimization should be ON. Also power mode should be max performance and not adaptive. Also I am on Windows 8.1 64bit no issues, Full updated.

EDIT: Also demon for your texture settings you are using some quality and some performance its better to do full quality or full performance. But you have gtx 980 correct? I would aim for Best quality possible.
Pie charts + Graphs= Very Bad.

    i'll give it a try

    edit:

Antialiasing - setting had only the option for 8x instead of your 16xQ CSAA changed everything else to be identical.

Dont forget to turn AA off in the game if you enable it in the nvidia control panel.

Also tried the suggested changes and went from lowest settings possible to these ones. Pretty much exactly the same except that the game looks a little better. Still FPS drops after half a match on FLO maps and random 1 second freezes. Really hope with release theses issue will be gone because I'm too lazy to try to figure out whatever causes this.

My freezes appear to be gone, and I did not do all of the above changes.
I formatted my system drive and reinstalled win 8.1.
Give it a go if your on same win os... Allthough reinstalling is a [TOS Violation], its worth it if the problem gets solved.

My micro freezes is back again. Now I've found a new solution,
Razor Cortex game booster. When it's on freezes is gone, when it's off freezes is back.

Mayby someone can track down what causes the freezes by using it, I don't have the energy to do that. ;)

Game Booster mainly just turns off background stuff if I'm not mistaken.

Post a list of what you have it disabling and that will give us a place to start looking!
The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

I tried this last night, but still got them :(

I have concluded that there is NO hope for me and this darned issue, absolutely NONE, but I'm going to soldier on, it's the Army way!

The programs cut off at the bottom are VSO ConvertX (a DVD burning thing) and WinRAR

What antivirus have you got installed? Avast (Free), also tried disabling while playing

@Uni-Sol, next time you reinstall windows try to play AA:PG before you install anything else.

I now played 1 and a ½ match without Razor booster enabled. Had a few freezes in spectate while waiting to join, and a few freezes in the first round after joining, after that, nothing.

I have finally upgraded to 4690K+MSI Z97 Gaming motherboard. The game runs way better now (fps wise!) BUT the micro-stuttering happens all the same, when I play more than one match. Good news is that I now have above 100fps under any possible circumstances , best 350 euros ever spent :D

Light at the end of the tunnel is Win10 in 10 days. I hope that thing solves the problem because it ain't the hardware. AMD or intel, AMD or Nvidia, the same thing happens on Windows 8.1 pro.
