Actually we did couple of times on our server, only works if it is not full. Had quite a laugh..
The trick was to run in doubles, so if you miss the melee your partner could choke the choker.. From outside this looked like a sandwich
Don't disagree in a way. Making this game on UE3 was a mistake.
Make AA Great Again!
I don't think anyone had a timeline at all.
Any engine would be the wrong engine without a proper timeline for developement.
I think they should bring back forceclassing weapons, on the fly
Shotgun only anyone?
Make AA Great Again!
Now I just have a say and see where it goes, if anywhere
Seriously, bring back the Ai bots!
Anyway, what would really save pg right now is better weapon handling, sounds, and maps. And that load screen is kind of annoying
-more AA2 official maps. Many of the private servers (mine) included run AA2 maps, but from the looks of it, no one seems to know those maps are available
-slow down the character movement, make it less COD/GRP/arcadey. Make it more realistic and teamwork oriented.
-players need to stop public accusations of hacking. Have suspicions? submit to ACi/PBBans and post on the appropriate server forum.
-bring back the squads format from AA3
and IMO, the game should not be slowed down at all. Any more would be pretty unrealistic. But really we all know the biggest improvement would be a stamina bar.
-
but i asked for this to be properly displayed in the hud like aa2... CEM meter display to show our "stamina". the open beta put that horrible circular "accuracy display meter??" in the hud instead. and of course it was never patched to display properly. it was abandoned?
-
the opt-in has neither in the hud.
-
i really just want a common sense hud display "bar"
- that empties when you're out of breath from sprint,
- slowly fills back up after you stop running,
- and drops really quick when you're under suppression,
- and fills back up as the suppression subsides,
- and lowers it's maximum when you're injured,
- and maximum varies in real time based on if you're standing instead of crouching,
- and indicates even the slightest thing such as you're with/without a teammate nearby for spotting to recover from suppression faster,
- etc..
-
just like the hud in aa2... so you know when you're fully composed and ready to fire as accurately as possible... THEN with all that knowledge on your screen... THEN you get a real breathing cycle into the game, and it should be gold. not these lame sway patterns.
-
bottom line, in aa2 that bar (and breathing cycle, showcased in the qualification course) was very good way of letting you understand that there are penalties, and most importantly, allowing the player to "get good" through practice and observation..
-
instead of this "strafe ADS full auto dump entire mag auto reload" gameplay... just firing wildly and wondering why your bullets are all missing because reasons...
-
give us a fully functional and operational display bar.
