"Gaming mouse myths busted"

From my interviews with François Morier and Chris Pate, the senior product manager of Logitech’s gaming division, I’ve tried to address some of the most confusing elements of gaming mouse technology, and correct some of the most common misconceptions.

Nice PC Gamer article debunking some gaming mice myths and looking with a bit more depth at technical features & numbers. Discuss.

I never bought into mice myths. Just bought a decent mouse and call it a day. The feature that I look for is comfort which for me means a classic shape the razer provides

I like to use my.. RM Nimbus when gaming. Its roller ball technology gives unparalleled accuracy on any surface.

You're not true Old-School Cool unless you're using an Engelbart mouse.

got my razer (can'trememberthename) keyboard and my logitch G5. My favorite combo, I will hold a funeral service when my mouse dies tbh, the thing has lasted me years and I can't get used to anything else (I've tried)

Try the Logitech G502. Was scared to switch from my loved MX518 but got used to the G502 on the same day I got it.

If the 502 came close to the number of buttons the 602 had, then maybe yes.

    and it's wireless.... "FacePalm"

EDIT:: it only has like 2-3more button's and im sure those give u a huge advantage !

Buttons are useless for fps games imo, they just distract of aiming.

I actually bought a mouse with not so many buttons, just good precision.

I feel bad for you, that you think it still makes a difference. This isn't 2004 anymore Haze.

The buttons do actually make a difference, because my desk doesn't offer the space for a nice keyboard and my laptop one isn't the best.

Psst: Wireless vs wired is one of the myths from the posted article ;)
  • hazealusRAWRhazealusRAWR Posts: 97Player
I have tried a wireless mouse and without that extra cord leverage i go right past people and get all crazy on my mouse pad i put part of my wire under my monitor so it locks in place kinda so i dont overshoot the screen ;) i know im pro thank you
