The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

    When/if linux/mac hits the net, it would require a new render api, will it be possible for win. users to select something different than directx?
    (it might not be a good idea, but could be cool)

    You dont wanna devide us but also want to have us all playing it to get things fast done aaaand the new one is playable....why not kill the current "beta" !? Would make sense to get as much feedback as soon as possible.

    Another question would be private servers.. can they run permanent opt-in? Or again only officials?

    It'll likely be set up the same way as previous opt-ins. If you're hosted, talk to the GSP; it's up to them to decide how to handle that. If you host your own, you'd have no issues going "permanent".

    Not sure about others but eor f.e. got an option to optin in the tca panel.

    Comp mode should be great. I can see the devs creating their own comp team in the future.

    Take the Robin Walker of Valve/TF2 approach to dev-exclusive weapon design. You'll be fine :wink:

    Will server owners be able to set.
    1.Number of revives
    2.how long between enemy spot.
    3.Remove weapons.
    4.Nade time at beginning of round..
    I don't like how this is going it seems to be all set up for competition players.
    I hope you give the server owners the option to remove and add these settings as they wish
    after all we are paying good money for our servers and should be able to set them how we want..

    As Flatlander said, you can already set 1 and 4. 3, as we've explained before, is related to the actual map. It's not a server variable you can just set. 2, this is also not an easy toggle setting. It is what it is, you either have it on or off.

    I guess I just don't understand why you would continue to keep the open beta live, but it is what it is.

    Beyond that I can imagine a match parser that dumps into a league stat page to show some great team and individual statistics. Look forward to that.
