game wont load

been a few weeks since i played, i click on the steam icon for AA and it starts to load and then just goes back to windows descktop , what do i need to do to fix the error??? i have have validated the game files 15 times and it comes back as good and i have updated PB.... :/

    Can you post your game log?
    (Do it right after you crash( or get kicked and exit the game) as the file gets overwritten each time you play.)
    C:\Users\user name\Documents\My Games\America's Army Proving Grounds\AAGame\Logs\AAclient.log

    hey did you try to start the game from steam??i mean if you do it that should not working becouse that was error from 2 y now at that.but if you have the AA at your descktop just click that and you go.

    i think he mean at he click that aa in steam not in descktop.that was error sens 2 y back.its not working for me .

    HEAT, yes, i log into steam and click on aa proving grounds, it shows the splash screen w the helicopter and then after 10 seconds or so, goes back to the AA proving grounds screen in steam w PLAY ready for me to click. this is what you asked for yes?

    reinstall the Visual C++ redistributable package from here: \Steam\steamapps\common\America's Army\_CommonRedist\vcredist

    make sure to pick the one that matches your operating system (x86 is for 32 bit operating systems).

    i do not have another. the current is alienware 17 r5
    its run AA for the past year w no issues. i have no idea what to do, have unistalled from steam and reinstalled, no luck

    if i goto this folder and run the aa game, it loads, if i do the 32 folder it doesnt run...further complicating this is there were only 8 ish servers w maps vs 30 when i log in thru steam...

    why doesnt steam up this version of the game and how do i point it to this version or ????

    Make sure your game is launching with your 1070 GPU and not your integrated Intel GPU.
