Can't login

When I try to login it gives me this "The AA authentication system could not be contacted. it may be down for maintance or your internet connection may have issue. Please check your internet connection and verify your firewall is not blocking port 443 for outbound secure connections" I checked that and there is nothing there and I had my friend check his to see if there was a rule I needed to create and he said there was nothing on his either and his was working. I can "Free Play Mode" and I can connect to servers and play but not with my account. I created a forum like this on steam July 1 and I have been able to fix or determine the problem. I need some help

The only thing I have changed in my setup is that I am using an Ethernet cable instead of WI/FI

I've checked all the rules I could find in outbound and there wasn't anything on there about America's army but there was also nothing blocking port 443 and my NVidia updater uses that port also

Sounds simple.. but have you restarted your PC and modem/router since swapping over to Ethernet?

In the past I have found a lot of un-explainable things seem to remedy themselves after PC and Modem have been switched off and rebooted.
If my trollery drives you crazy, you'd better put on your seatbelt.

Just to be safe, go ahead and verify the integrity of your game cache please.
The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

It's still your network adapter software or security software, I can't work out which from this end.

Then the answer is one of those listed in the responses before yours.
    • Corrupt game files
    • Network manager software that ships with the Atheros Qualcomm Killer NIC or any of the motherboards that build it in to their design
    • your security/Anti-virus software is interefering with traffic on that port.

Shouldn't have any software conflict because I have no firewall and I'm not sure how to fix the network manger you're referring to. I don't think the game files are corrupt because the download and install went smooth.
