game setup not saving after changes

Hello.started back up playing this game after some years ago,forgot my original username but that is not why i am here.

Initial setup does not stick
username and password,remember pw autologon does not apply and hold for next logon

All video audio settings and key bindings do not hold,i have to set them all manually every time i go to play game.Obviously this is wearing thin.

On a seperate note i was so happy to see a bridge server again,bridge and mountain pass maps were my fav back in the day.

Anyway i hope i can get some help here so i can enjoy this game again!!

Sound like some kind of read only access issue. Are you playing with Administrator permissions on Windows?

i tried running the aagame.exe as admin,and yes everything is working now!!
just put a shortcut on desktop,to play game.
login is saving and all settings
