Greetings everyone, I'm SiNsOfThEDeViL and I'm a big fan of AAPG and would like to pitch a few ideas of some guns that I think would be pretty cool in the game. Now we already have new guns coming in on October 1st, but I had a few ideas on some guns that I would like to see in AAPG.

The 1st gun is: HK416

The HK416 is is an assault rifle designed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. It was first developed in Germany and it's currently used by the United States specifically by the JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command)
The fire rate of the gun is around 700 to 900 rounds/min.

The 2nd gun is: Sig Sauer MCX

The SIG MCX is a weapon series designed and manufactured by SIG Sauer, featuring a short-stroke gas piston system, carried over from the SIG MPX submachine gun. It is made in both semi-automatic and selective fire configurations. It is available in rifle, short-barreled rifle, and pistol configurations.

The 3rd gun is The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System:

The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System is an American semi-automatic sniper rifle/designated marksman rifle that is chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO round, developed by U.S. firearm manufacturer Knight's Armament Company. The M110 is to be replaced by the lighter and more compact Heckler & Koch G28.

The 4th gun is: M240 machine gun

The M240, officially the Machine Gun, 7.62 mm, M240, is the US military designation for the FN MAG a family of belt-fed, gas-operated medium machine guns that chamber the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The M240 has been used by the United States Armed Forces since the late 1970s.

Rate of Fire (Cyclic): 600-650 rounds/min
Rate of Fire (Rapid; 2-3 secs between bursts): 200 rounds per minute, with a barrel change every 2 minutes
Rate of Fire (Sustained): 100 rounds per minute
Etc...

The 5th Weapon is: SIG Sauer MPX
The SIG MPX is a gas-operated submachine gun designed and manufactured by SIG Sauer and is primarily chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge. It is a gas-operated firearm, featuring a closed, rotating bolt. Usually used in hostage rescue, night operations, escort, close quarters etc

Rate of fire: 850 RPM ( rounds per minute)
Maximum firing range: over 3700 meters (4046.369 yards)

The 6th gun is: M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle:

The M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle, formerly known as the XM2010 and M24 Reconfigured Sniper Weapon System, is a sniper rifle developed by PEO Soldier for the United States Army. It is derived from the M24 Sniper Weapon System and replaced the existing M24s.

And from some sources, I've heard that one of the best snipers in the history. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock aka White Feather (they called him like that because he always had a white feather on his hat, he only took it off once for a mission)
He used the XM2010 sniper rifle during the Vietnam War.

The 7th gun is: M203 under barrel grenade launcher

The M203 is a single-shot 40 mm under-barrel grenade launcher designed to attach to a rifle. It uses the same rounds as the older stand-alone M79 break-action grenade launcher, which utilizes the High-Low Propulsion System to keep recoil forces low.

Effective firing range: 160 yds (150 m)
Maximum firing range: 437 yds (400 m)
Barrel length: 12 in (305mm)
Rate of fire: 5 to 7 round/min

So thats my short list of the guns I would like to see in AAPG. Would you like to see some of them in the game too? Please vote!

P.S. I am not working with AA Game studio in any sort of way, I'm just trying to do my best as a community member

Best Regards, SiNsOfThEDeViL

They've already made the model for scar and will be in the game soon.

I hope AAV sees more variety of weapons.

US Army - Self Explanatory. Standard issue + more specialty type weapons
US Military - Weapons that other branches of the military may use that the Army doesn't
NATO Allies - Weapons that our allies use

This would help expand the arsenal and make things more variable. You can limit what kind of weapons are available based on the mission. Or you can do it like the original America's Army and have special slots for those types of weapons. For example, maybe one mission is a joint operation with the British Military so if you pick the slots available for British troops you get an L85. Stuff like that would be interesting as long as the Army would be able to get permission from those other countries to use their likeness in their game. Maybe even joint operations with other US Military branches too.

    Agreed. Sounds very good! :)

A assault rifle can only perform in so many ways so whats the point in having multiple versions of the "same" weapon, its mostly skins as you cant really give the same general spec totally different in game behavior.
well, you can but you will end up with either under powered or over powered compared to the weapons already in the game.
If its under powered, why would i pick it?
If its overpowered, why would i pick something else?
If its the same, its just re-skinned(re-branded).

Because people like games that have variety. Also, you can make weapons handle a bit different. One may have less recoil, one may have a higher rate of fire, another does more damage. Each rifle would tailor to each player's play style or strengths/weaknesses. You have a strike a balance between the weapons so that you don't have just one that outperforms the rest, but it can be done. You don't need to have 20 different rifles, but even just a few could work.

Pretty much. Guns like the HK416 could just be the M4 again with slightly longer ADS time and a slightly faster reload, or whatever. There are lot of variables you can play with but mostly they are .mil weapons that wouldn't be a lot of effort. I'm for it.

You got a good point there, skins would be pretty good as well.

I'm not sure if the game needs another Long-Ranged Explosive, so I'm kinda against adding under-barrel grenade launchers. Perhaps a Bayonet or under-barrel shotgun could be added as an attachment for rifles to allow for increased CQC effectiveness. Bayonet is for DMRs and/or the Sniper Rifle though, and the shotty should only have 1-2 rounds in it.

Teamwork is essential, it gives the enemy other people to shoot at

I like the idea of different attachment options. Someone, I think Whiplash, mentioned having a grenade launcher (limited, I would hope), or possibly a laser sight that would increase hipfire accuracy. The only way I could see having a shotgun attachment would be for an objective or door-breaching situation. Frankly, I wish we had objectives more like AA2.

For all the talk of bringing Pipeline to AAPG, I think you need to have a grenade-launcher for the map to play well, but I don't like the idea of everyone having. I think you'd have to have a map-specific grenadier role.

Kind of ripping off PUBG, but perhaps the option of a suppressor that also prevents you from showing up on the mini-map when you fire, or a compensator that reduces your recoil. I'd be up for players having more options and the ability to choose the best loadout for their respective playstyles, varying based on map and strategy.

Yea, maybe the m320 mass under-barrel shotgun would be cool but tbh I fear it might be too OP. And also the nade launcher shouldn't have the same damage as a grenade or something, should just take like idk 40-50% HP or something close to that as I don't want it to be too OP so the players will starting taking a huge dump all over the game.

DIdn't read anyone elses reply. But to avoid this issue we'd have to be creative with kit selection/assignments (similar to AA2).

I agree with that doogle, maybe like Insurgency or Battlefield, have special equipment for different classes.
Maybe like I don't know add a sensor beacon or something to the designated marksman or add some new scopes and such which I think would also improve the game's gameplay.
