Uninstalling

Does anybody else have a problem with the game uninstalling on it's own? I'll go to open up the game after running steam, The game icon is still there but when i click on it, it takes me to the install menu for the game, it runs what it needs to and starts to install the game again and idk why it keeps doing it, Has been happening for about 4 - 5 months now. Any help is really appreciated
