Weapons jam?

In AA 2.0 sometime the gun jammed and it had to be checked.
Maybe in AAPG it will be a nice add.
Weapon jamming is good option?

no, as in yes, weapons do jam, but not that common within 120 rounds, so to make it happen in a game round it has to be pretty frequent.

Too random.. nothing worse than losing a round match due to randomness.. no thanks

We've talked about this feature before internally, we won't be adding it to our game.
The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

Kinda don't like the idea of not being able to shoot when I press the button due to a silly random feature that would only be in the game because it happens occasionally in real life. I think it would only annoy people and not add anything to the gameplay other than frustration.

Random things out of your control isn't difficulty, it's just cheap.

Tell ya what.. maybe we can talk to the devs and have a sign up list.. if you want your gun to jam, you sign up and the devs will make it that your gun will jam.. this way those that like the feature are happy and those that done are also happy.

If you want jams, play AA2, and i could potentially supply you with a bind that will jam your weapon enough even for the most diehard enthusiasts ;)

Oh, not this again! Why should an un-aimed weapon be accurate?!

Suppression isn't random at all, you can calculate and expect it's effects (and compensate for them)

Recoil can be learned as well

Why would an un-aimed weapon be accurate?

Whole lot of apples and oranges here. Weapon jams are out of your control, accuracy cone isn't. Just... you know.... AIM!

Nope, you can´t learn random, just doesn't happen. There is a reason RNG-based mechanics are used to lower the skill ceiling across many games, they introduce elements out of players control to blur the line between good and bad players.

I voted NO, but maybe it would be cool, if it were only the guns you pick up that jamed, thus teaching you a lession, your taking a chance with pickups. ;)
