Uhm, it is slowed down? But as already mentioned it is due to SSHD probably. This is another example of SSHD (I know I missed the first shot).

    Survey says:
Supported strafing bug got the best of you. The pawn was glitched out and your shot didn't register. I would blame this on supported fire instead of hitreg.

Not sure what the supported bug is exactly but neither me nor the enemy is mounted in the video I posted.

most of my frustration doesn't come from hitreg. i know how cshd works.
    -
my frustration comes from when an enemy has over 130 ping (typically a good player with over 150 or a bad player with 300) and that enemy's location on my screen is not the same as his location on his screen. and vice versa, my location on his screen is exploited with his higher ping because on my screen i am not engaging him because of that very delay, and i am not informed of where that player is and i get killed for it, as indicated in situations where you make a move for complete cover and you die after the fact. it is like being killed by a ghost.
    -
ping advantage in cshd is real. there should be server ping limits in cshd pubs. since we're not using sshd. cshd offers better hitreg, but becomes unfair when the high ping advantage is obvious.

Did you play both sides of this? If so do you really think you were in an advantage while having that highping? I recently played both sides in a scrim and I felt like having the low ping is way better. While having the highping I noticed that enemies quickly leaning around corners see me way earlier than I see them.

How do you know what someone else sees and when they see it? it’s not possible from your own perspective.

I just assume that these guys aren't shooting me through the wall then leaning around the corner ;)

Ugh! If that's the case, then the whole concept of my cheeky 'hit marker' post goes out the window....I'd be....wr....w...ack...wro...I can't say it...!

    Wrong! :(

Hitmarkers will help to inform the shooter that he actually hit, in circumstances where he normally wouldn't understand why he didn’t get the kill or be left wondering if he actually hit his target, resulting in global comms asking "Did I hit you?". I hear that all the time may I say along with accusations of foul play whenever someone with a lower level than another gets a good run of kills. Allowing hit markers may even help identify hit registration issues that players are so wound up about.

They could be made optional, I see no reason why they can't add it for people who wish to enable them. For me, the blood puffs are an unreliable indicator for reasons I posted above, on top of that the game is teen rated.
The whole "But he shot me before he could see me" or calling BS because someone got a shot off faster than someone else, in luck or whatever, happens in every shooter game, most people believe it because they died and don't accept the death as legit and would rather make excuses up for their demise, its a phenomena some people call, raging.

I’m totally confused, (ya, ya, I know, nothing new) but…
Back in the 1.8 to 2. whatever day’s high pingers were blamed for everything from crashing servers to causing the 2004–2008 volcanic activity of Mount St. Helens. Mostly though, they were considered easy prey as low ping players would morph around maps shooting them at will.
Now in 2015 high pingers are again the bad guys but this time because they are seen as having unfair advantages. So which is it people, you can’t have it both ways!

Forgive me, I thought I had said make them optional :) as in you don't have to enable them if you don't want them, much like simulated munitions and camera bob.

You mean like the options we have to enable body spectating and everyone spams locations which makes your ears bleed and is bad for the game..ah those options.. nah we have enough bad options at it stands

Yeah well, optional options cannot really be considered bad options since they are entirely optional haha

Would a hitmarker have made some of your videos easier to dissect?

No.. it just confuse me.. what WILL make my video analysis clear is Demorec and it's features. .. I just hope it's newbie friendly

Again sniper, it's the only weapon anyone shows that confirms Hit reg... or maybe just a glitch in the gun ..I'm Going with the ladder of the two at this point

well that sniper had full health, thus he was never revived before taking that shot. isn't that a prerequisite for that sniper bug? or has it been proven that it also occurs w/o a revive? idk.

Hit markers are a bad idea considering how many paper walls we have in the game. You shouldn't know if you're hitting someone on the other side of the map/wall/universe.

:22 sec ,, could use a zoom feature because I dont know how that missed.. another example of how a smaller dot would help to clarify things a little

:23 cedonds.. I mean does he move his head .001 sec before the shot comes? can it get any closed than that?

loving the suppression.. 3 dots lol.. clearly I stopped shooting in this one thinking I had enough shots.. oh well

In AA2 you was able to change the dot size... Why we can't do it here?
  • .shhfiftyfive-.shhfiftyfive- Posts: 495Player
one of the reasons i didn't like the aa2 reflex sight in m4's on weapons cache and insurgent camp. instead i used the m249 iron sights, or the m203 iron sights on those maps.... because those reflex sights would shake so much when fired it made it hard to keep eyes on target with such a big red mark obstructing my view.
