Game wont start.

Hi.
My friend have the following issue. When he starts the game the little steam window appears and says prepair to start the game but after the game never starts and closes himself. You can see at the game list that it says Aapg is running but just for like 2 seconds and after it closes and nothing.
Already did game files backup. What to do now?
