Sound node / cue

Ok so using a static sound cue through kismet and adding the sound track and correct target I can get custom sounds to work brilliantly . But soon as you make it a movable sound cue the sound is no longer being controlled by attenuation . Why does it then go global across the map until it ends at its destination where then it reverts back to its setings in attenuation .
