Show Automatic Rifleman some love

It would be nice to get an m240b as an alternative for the AR. It's dull having no choice while playing that class.

The M240 is a General Purpose Machine gun designed to be used “in place”. It fires the 7.62 and is much bigger, more cumbersome than the M249.
If you wish to have an option for the automatic rifleman then the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle would seem the better choice. It has already been adopted into the AR role for the four man US Marine Corps fireteam.

    Broken record alert!

Might be alone.. but a SMG would likely fit nicely next to the M249, it'd just have a lower magazine capacity
If my trollery drives you crazy, you'd better put on your seatbelt.

M27 would be nice, issue is we're playing an Army game not a Marine game

Well than, we’re stuck with M249. The Army hasn’t yet given the “go ahead” to put the LSAT Light Machine Gun into production. :o

going on size/weight difference with the m249, could the m240L be considered an option?
