    and this is news to me? they're not 600 ohms, they're only 38.. that's how they work with on board and no amp required.. its not the power i'd be looking for from a soundcard or amp.. its the surround and direction because Realtek sucks

    lol. Yes it is. Your headphones would sound much much better. You have no dedicated headphone amp with your sound card a headphone amp is not just for high amp headphones its for headphones period because it makes all headphones sound better than no amp.

    It will only make them louder.. it's not like it will bring out sounds I can't already hear.. I already turn my volune down..

    Im denifitely going to get the ad700x but i think im going to get the g5 from soundblaster seeing as how i can get it for cheaper then the soundblaster z haha

    g5 is much better so good choice.
