Americas Army Border Redux

I’m hoping someone can assist with a recurring issue that I’m encountering in AAPG:

Using my Steam account, I try to connect to a server running the map AA2BorderRedux. Within AAPG, I enter the server IP address below and click connect.

SERVER: =ER^b= AA2 Border map
IP: 188.40.142.201:7778
MAP IN WORKSHOP: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=562084697

I continually see the following error message:

THIS SERVER RUNS ONE OR MORE CUSTOM MAPS
If you wish to connect, you must first subscribe and download these maps. AA2BorderRedux.

From what I can tell, I am subscribed to the map in Steam Workshop. However, I do not see a download option.

If you disabled background downloads during gameplay @Steam you have to shutdown the game first to start the download. You can then see the progress in the steam download section.
