Mesh question

Is it possible to place a large number of mesh, such as grass, over a larger area to make like a field of tall grass?

Yep. You can place them one at a time, or you can load them into the foliage tool and experiment with 'painting' them onto the ground. That tool is in the top left corner of the advanced editor near the landscape and geometry tools. Have your mesh selected in the Content Browser, then add it to the tool.

There are some cool settings you can use to vary the height or rotation of the mesh, or the number of them per a certain area, etc. Tweak these settings to make it seem more random and nature-like.

You can even place more than one type of grass or plant or even blue the same time...... :)

I have worried about performance issues, but you'll have to look into that.

This has been a test of the emergency flame-fest system. Please do not adjust your set.
