    I've been wanting a submarine base map for ages, tried making one myself last year. Totally downloading this right now to check out!
    The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

    IKR.. them screenies (and even a short video iirc) certainly got me all wet..

    I still have it. I had done more work to it. I too have a sub in it. Also added underwater nuclear generators :p and Some aquatic life, courtesy of DeltaThunder. ;)

    Yeah I wise we had some swimming animation to go with the water volume. :(

    the discussion reminds me of underwater reactor

    it was a name used for new maps we were testing way back in the day, when 3rd-party browsers could see the beta servers

    patch day would come, and everyone wanted to know where the underwater reactor map was

    now we are near to have all kinds of military facilities through.
    Airfields, Bunkers, Harbours, Submarines, ..... hm there is something missing
    yes a cruiser or battleship :awesome:
    Is there an interest in having a battleship as map :-P

    Or perhaps a prison, construcion facility or a football stadium
    so see what future brings.

    PLS tell me what you want i am searching for new ideas
    perhaps some to complete old ideas

    I tried it, you dont swim, you kinda bob up and down like a remote controlled floating apple, you can even take shots as your bobbing, although its clunky and sporadic.. that could be an issue but I'm unsure of how you'd be able to disable firing whilst in the water (Probably a way with volumes and kismet somehow)

    I'd like to see how it plays on a server with others, I'd be most concerned with the long line of sight. Everywhere bar in the buildings and tunnel feels like its massively overlooked from large portions of the playspace, which could make balance and assault objective success tricky, for example is making a dash for the bomb on the sub a death trap of 5 or so players aims trained on, that even multiple fogs cant help with? really hard to say tbh running around offline without being able to have an opposite team aiming at you.

    Very cool look and feel to the map though, Good job Muzza :+1:

    i know its not actual swimming cos that is not in the game , but its the closest i can get without someone adding quite a few program lines in lol. still trying to figure out why it doesn,t function on a server though. grrrrrrr

    Its a tricky one to answer, I've never understood why something you can get working in the editor don't want to work multiplayer.. I've had it myself with things as simple as assigning the new sounds to touch triggers not wanting to function.

    what are you using to achieve the effect? maybe some one can recreate your settings and see whats going wrong.

    changed couple of settings now starting to work on server , but have to use movement keys slowly by tapping them instead of holding down to move

    Well got couple of us in the map . Not happy with the bobbing effect . Got scale wrong too its far too big . Well now u know my idea guys . Will be reworking and downscaliing this map .

    I could use a how to make a river.. my quick way isn't going to cut it..
    I had a volume and just added a water texture, and alough technically it works, I doubt it's the right way

    Now that I know there's a folder with assets in full editor I'm rocking and rolling on my map.. good thing Flops pointed it out for me

    You know how awful it was trying to make a house 1 small wall piece at a time with no texture..
    Now Im like a pro only not.

    But ya I'm trying to make an easy river flo, I could probably get away with what I have but knowing the proper way would be best.. I you tubed how to..meh no help
