I have to be honest...I love the outdoorsy-ness of this map but I SUCK at it!!!! I just can't "see" quick enough!

Only problem I have is the nade spam. Foliage doesn't really slow down or deflect "throwables" as much as you'd expect. Making it a hail-mary map if you can get to certain spots early enough.

Couple guys having a convo on a on a Homestead server yesterday, one of them said..

"I picked good camouflage for this map"

I'm immediately thinking, "oh dear".. I don't think he realized that to the enemy.. he is actually wearing black and sticking out like a sore thumb leaning out next to that tree, it was the very first time I have ever truly wished I had a mic in the very moment
If my trollery drives you crazy, you'd better put on your seatbelt.

Being a map designer of sorts has taught me a lot about colour and knowing what the opfor looks like, I always go lay in piles of dark reddish brown stuff.......

Someone please design a map with cows!

    :p

Despite all the brush, it's fairly easy to identify the enemy. I would advice against using the brush as cover (it's not effective, i'll see you), and use the terrain elevation instead. I like the positioning of the two bomb sites, you really have to communicate with your team about which way the bomb is going and where it drops. Surprisingly to myself, I've really been enjoying this map and personally think it has potential even in the comp rotation. Well done Devs.

    Why???
Oh, I get it. So you can "...lay in piles of dark reddish brown stuff..." and be cowmooflaged. ;)

The map is actually small, but feels big due to foliage and people generally moving slower. I'm liking the map more now as I know where to look for enemies and where to position myself. It was a little disorienting the first time.

One trick I do is to move a few steps and stop to hear and look for enemies then move a few steps again. You are also much harder to spot when stationary. You should refrain from moving too much. Moving through the bamboo would also give your position away as the bamboo would sway. Swaying bamboo means throw nade here!

    My tarantula hunts like that....move....stop....move.....stop....

    It's a valuable skill. :)
