Smoke Grenades causing Game Crash

I can't quite pinpoint WHY the fogs are causing my game to crash but it is definitely the fog grenades that are forcing my game to close. Any time There are 3 or 4 fogs deployed on the map and I try to throw one my game crashes. It doesn't even appear to produce any dump files. Any ideas?

    Windows 10 64-bit
    16 GB DDR3 1600
    AMD FX 8350 4.6 Ghz
    Asus Nvidia GTX 970 Strix (factory clock)
    It's not overheating or anything and it only keeps happening when dealing with smoke grenades. Happened again just a minute ago while smoke was clearing.

    Things I've tried:
    Updating GPU drivers
    Rolling back GPU drivers
    Adjusting graphics settings
    verifying game integrity through steam
    deleting my AAPG folder in my documents and restarting steam
