Tomorrow February 5th the AA Devs will be playing the top 10 Great Outdoors contest maps on the Official servers.

We hope to see everyone there!

EDIT: We will be joining the servers around 1400 Central.
The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

    How will this work? Do you have the maps already on the server so all you need to do is click yes to subscribe to all the maps or we subscribe to each individually? It would be nice if the maps were already loaded on the server so we can get a head start on downloading.

    10 maps are a lot to DL at once....

    I must agree. I (and my data limit) would much prefer only a few maps per server. Playing the maps against the Dev's should not be the goal.
    Playing the maps with full servers to push them to see what works and what doesn't and how much FUN they are should be!

    Well, if the December playtest was any indicator, if it wasn't for the Devs, there'd be hardly any players on there.

    I would suspect that they will provide a collection...as they did for the 40 submitted, Then you can download the top 10 at your convenience....

    I get a Could Not Connect: Version Mismatch error on the US Comp Map servers.

    We played on the FNG server running them today and all was fine. It is possible the US Comp Maps server is still running the same maps from December. I will have Tear look into it.

    There are certain people working on this UGC issue. Don't want to step on any toes, but I'm seeing that the metadata file is NOT a generic text file with a contained ID, but rather the metadata file itself can require syncing even with equal contents. Depends on when a client syncs up, downloads or subscribes or when a map maker updates...etc.

    Not sure yet but something is off.

    Let's just say it's not yet working as intended across the system. It's close, and once it's working it will be awesome!

  • US comp mode is not update.. some of the maps dont work on the server ......

    @iSoldier, we've had reports of certain UMM's seemingly causing lag. Which map(s) did you see lag on?
