Thats a nvidia feature, open up the nvidia control panel, "3D settings" in the menu bar, untick "show Physx visual indicator"

in the 3D "tree" there is no mention of physx anywhere...either under the Global or the Program trees.

my driver is about 6 weeks old, should i install the new vid driver (the one for GTAV) or is that not necessary?

i setup lightboost and added it to startup folder, rebooted. went to the test site and it showed 120 fps 120 hz. most of the time it was in yellow / red and saying it couldnt sync...do i need google chrome for the test to work better?

also, in-game i am set to 144 fps, the test browser said 120 / 120. should all numbers be the same?

It doesn't really matter honestly as long as your above 120 fps at all times. If you can't keep a constant 144 at all times there is no point drop down to 122. As for the sync issue I've had it happen to me sometimes its just a browser or flash issue or w/e.
Pie charts + Graphs= Very Bad.

In case it isn't clear, lightboost maxes at 120hz so anything beyond 122 fps for smoothing is pointless.
    Hello sir, excellent accuracy.

I always play better with the most stable fps I can get regardless of when people say there is no need for more than 120 etc

I suppose I was unclear again. When I said anything beyond 122 for smoothing is pointless, I meant specifically in regards to the monitor and to lightboost, not to the game experience. 2000 fps doesn't matter to the monitor that refreshes 120 times per second.

yea but 2000 fps says one of two things, either expensive NASA technology is available for home use or your game looks worse than minecraft when you play.

if i play with Gsync my fps is limited to the max monitor refresh rate wich is 144,but there is no real screen tear in this game so not much use for Gsync either.

My monitor is 60hz but its the number on the bottom that makes my game feel completely different.
