lighting build failed

hallo out there..my map only needs a build all, but it stops when its buildning the lightmass, i am sure its because i need memory. i just want to be sure... i think i haft to get som more ram on monday.. but yes i only have 4 gb ram right now......

    Same used to happen to me dude, 4GB of system RAM can't handle the build process, and aborts the operation.. especially on maps that are quite big and/or use a lot of light.

    The problem will go away when you have more RAM.
    If my trollery drives you crazy, you'd better put on your seatbelt.






  • Thanks for the answer. I have to put my map up (outdoor) and rebuild it when my ram gets home. even if it's a little late.only on (Thursday).
