    I remember AA2 having between 40k-60k players on at once according to aaotracker. Those numbers came from only registered users on that site too I am pretty sure.

    Subtract players playing on inner servers on a busy night from the overall player count in all available servers.. Then see how many people are playing.
    I'd be willing to bet that since map voting changed even official servers have seen a drop in player counts.. when the server can't be changed back to inner.

    FWIW I wish it was different too :wink:

    Agree with Doba here on his last 2 posts. Remove inner and show them the light, or turn them off for good. And if that's the case move on to ue4 almost 5 now and start work on new game. :D

    The thing is, people playing Inner exclusively says a lot about the other maps in the game. Many people aren't willing to try UMMs even if they are AA2 remakes. So what's left? The only map that people like in the game.

    A new player trying other maps has even less chance of meeting players at his or her level. Nobody would chose the beating freely.

    its not the map its the server though.. same people he plays on inner will be there on the next map and the one after..

    Again Official low honor servers go a long way.. the few second account trolls it might get wont outweigh the positives

    Inner is like Metro for BF3-4 or Nuketown for COD serie...maps for gain levels/perks or for kids pum-pum boom-boom (are new generations full of retarded monkeys?). Said that the problem is the same .... we have a fast paced game that dont like to the old generations AAO-style players because is too fast and dont like to new generations because it hasn't enough perks/boom boom/weapons and so on.

    Players drop regardless... but if you as a server admin have to go back to inner to re populate then I go back to my original statement about inner.. drop it

    So here's something to ponder.. If you eliminate Inner.. would you lose those players? cause that's only 1 map!! therefore are we losing more than we think with 1 bad feature ..

    well inner is not bad actually.. its just overplayed for some of us, so we are bored of it.

    Just the added functionality of opening doors would change this game immensely. I don't understand why they were left out in this version?? Think of all the fun missed when we would open a door and pop in a nade!

    And, of course, the AI co-op map. We should have at least one.

    I know you guys think I'm crazy. But I'm telling you, it's today's generation. COD/CS changed the face of gaming. Even games like Battlefield are starting to do bad with each release. Yes, you have the large sales numbers at start, but they are dying quicker than ever. People just don't want to play larger maps where they have to work for things. They don't want to use their brains. They don't want to stress.... They just want to join a server blow [TOS Violation] up and hour later quit without any ramifications. Look at what's left of the compition scene in general. The only truly orginized leagues are some sorta paid leagues. I.E: cs/cod/wow/dota. What happen to the old days when you played for fun and bragging rights. They are gone because of some of the games I just mentioned. Basically what I'm trying to say in a nutshell..... It is what it is! You either a part of it or you will fail.

    Also I forgot to mention. Maybe creating some achievements/ coins for playing UMM's. Maybe make where you have to play certain amount of UMM's to unlock camo's or weapon skins. I think today's generation loves things like achievement and unlocking things, so that would be some kinda of incentive for them to play UMM's. Just a thought.
