Which setting should I use for nVidia at 1920x1080?

I have been using Morphological but is FX x16 better or is there a difference?

The one that looks the best to you with a performance hit you can live with is the best.

They all look terrible tbh, I just leave them off since it's no improvement anyway.

Yep, I don't see any difference visually or with performance.

AA is most useful if you stand still, the breathing of the pawn causes a lot of "movement" in the scenery.
This is reduced with some amount of AA.

Play at 16:10 makes the edges much smoother and everything is correct in it's geometry.

1080 Hype and marketing set us back in monitor development 10 yrs. :(

Can a Dev comment on if there a proffered aspect ratio??

1920x1080 is the industry standard right now. Unreal likes 16:10 though.

Our testing is roughly half and half between 16:9 and 16:10

    Either way is fine
The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

Do 1080 if you like fat soldiers and oblong scopes & circles. :/

    1050 or 1200 rock!!!

I turn off anti alaising in game but I use Anisotropic Filtering i use 16x. If you want my nivida control panel settings and ingame video settings exactly I can post them.
Pie charts + Graphs= Very Bad.

Unreal is pure 16 :10 you can play that on a 16:9 monitor just pick and 800 or 1050 or 1200.

Better FPS, no stutter, increase in hit detection, better look, crush those jag edges, you will never look back.

Anything thing 1080 in unreal engine is shifted by 15 pixels in either direction yuck so unnatural. :#

Thanks but I'm playing around with the settings to see if I can notice one better than the other. So far, it looks pretty much the same.

yah your not going to notice a difference but performance wise you might depending on hardware. Thats why I leave antialaising off in game if you really want to see a difference you force anti aliasing through nvidia control panel 16x Q or 32 or w/e and put transparency at 8x supersample. Then set all your texture settings to high quality. Texture Filtering - anisotropic=off, Texture FIltering - Negative LOD=Clamp, Texture Filtering Quality= High Quality, Texture Filtering - Trilinear Optimization=off
Pie charts + Graphs= Very Bad.

wont let me change from 1080 unless I go windowed mode??
Also do you let your graphics card scale it up or do you have black bars either side??

That goes for the windowed fullscreen mode. Normal full screen mode should work with other resolutions as well.

What kinda card?... most support 16:10 rez I've played Full screen on a 1080 acer 120hz it sits dead center with 150 pix on each side and 15 pix top and bottom... looks beautiful even on a LCD blahh panel. What is nice & bonus it defuses that purple back-light... blahh of panels around the edges.

Most of my play is on a sony FW900 which had 16:10 3k resolution in 2005!.. CRT for the win in monitors needs! Marketing tricked us into something cheaper and left quality behind, get 4608 x 2880 at 90hz with nivida DSR an 1920 x 1200 111hz... this is 10 yr old tech with pitch perfect blacks, ZERO input lag, truly amazing the CRT design... bridge night is night... so sweet.

Now OLED is on the horizon.. soon the blacks will return in a beautiful natural state.. finally after 10 yrs of blahhh in viewing equipment, when OLED hits 120hz i'm all in!! OR MAYBE EARLIER! LG putting out nice stuff.

My phone is AMOLED sweet on the battery ... Organic is the future!!! grow those screens!!!
