    Time wasn't include because we (incorrectly) assumed it was just understood.
    All of our maps run at the same times. We are sorry for the oversight.

    As to all the exact reasons why we run the times we run, I'll leave that for one of our LD's to go into in depth in the next podcast.

    Suffice it to say, our decision is made out of the data we collect and the overall style of the playerbase.

    We are NOT saying you can't have and enjoy longer map times, that's why we created the option. Just that we are holding these maps to the same standards as any other Official map.

    As this question has been fully answered, we can move on now.


    Edit: Just to clear one more thing up, this has NOTHING to do with the comp players. They, like anyone else, can set any timer they want. We picked the time we feel is best. It's as simple as that.
    The game wasn't made exactly to my specifications, so I feel it's broken.

    I've played a lot of whats been submitted so far and I have to say.. This comp is so far looking good!

    My only worry (for myself and my effort), is that Fallout 4 is imminent :smirk: that’s my legitimate excuse if you don't get anything from me this time around, tottaly not because of any of what 'was' removed from this topic :lol:

    Please submit any map you like. If the map is intended for a round timer longer than the standard four minutes please note that with the submission. If the map genuinely plays well it will be considered regardless of the round length.

    Everyone talking about match times. How about talking about round-start times and kicking them down to 30 seconds? 40-60 seconds is a snooze. ZZzzzz.

    We were also annoyed about long match start times but realized that some ppl really need more than 30 seconds to reload the new map and join the server.
    37 seconds seems to be sweet spot with that.

    No its way more than that. SSD barely helps load times to that extent. Someone loading a map for 30 seconds is not gonna load in 5 seconds just by getting an SSD.
