So maybe cooking nades does work right in this game. After all, the Army doesn't train you to be consistent in cooking nades. Once you pull that pin you should be shaking in your boots. :s

I lose my accuracy or let's say the feel of holding my mouse when I try to press a side button with my thumb. Tried binding spot enemy there, didn't really work for me. Maybe it's how I hold the mouse don't know
  • I have a random cook time "problem" as well. For me, I would cook a grenade for 3 sec in which it would explode (killing myself and team mates) before reaching the maximum 5 sec cook time. Though this happens on random occasions, making it hard to compensate for this "problem".

Part of your issue may be that they're actually on a 4 second timer

Don't swear, it has always been 4.
Theory and reality are not that different. In theory.

From a year ago when someone thought their grenade popped early in a video:
Your grenade went off after four seconds, as expected :)

We don't use the variable fuse setting for any grenade.

Yep, it's exactly four seconds and has been for a long time :)
Fogs are 2, flashes are 1.8.

So the moment the pin is pulled, the nade goes off exactly 4 seconds after that? Is this only in AAPG? Because I have been counting 5 seconds for like the past decade. @Saccho first I learned there is actual bullet drop in this game, and now this. Thank you sir!

You're likely starting your count at 1 instead of 0.

Well, I was estimating the time. As for the times it happened I was not counting the actually time. But I meant the Time for cooking to explosion on random occasions will be half of what it is usually.

I bound the throw button to one of my mouse buttons... throw grenade one = MMB, throw grenade two = thumb button 1. Fire selection is bound to my other thumb mouse button.

See, this is why we need a vip mode and incapping.... so you can pull out a frag, pull the pin, but not cook it and sit on the vip, waiting to get shot and drop the nade to kill the vip. Those days were classic
