How do I make last post show in new forums?

I can't seem to find this option in my settings. I am always going back to the first post in the thread.

    when I click recent discussions, clicking on the title takes me automatically to #latest

    I tried that but still takes me to first page of every thread no matter how many pages the thread has.

    UGH!

    Addendum: Okay, one thread took me to page 3 of 5. So, is it possible I am going to the last post I read?

    yes, that's what #latest does

    yes, that's what #latest does

    Awh! I don't like that. I read backwards. I'd rather go to the last post.
