When I join a server to play crossfire, the "loading video" plays for 3-4 seconds then it freezes, and the game closes it self (launcher still open).Other maps I play don't have this issue. Please help.Edit : Also happenes with lockdown and Watchdog :-(
One more bug- some times the sound of automatic gun gets "stuck" and plays itself throughout the match. My poor ears.
Sometimes, the game freezes for less than 1 second and becomes normal again. Sometimes it freezes for more time.
Never had these issues with the open beta(which I have now deleted because opt-in is greater than that, except the bugs).

Please delete the contents of My Documents\My Games\America's Army Proving Grounds\AAGame\Config

    *****************
    If it still crashes

Can you post your game log?
(Do it right after you crash as the file gets overwritten each time you play.)
    C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\My Games\America's Army Proving Grounds\AAGame\Logs\AAclient.log

Just the last 100 lines or so

Either you, or the server have the wrong copy of these maps:
You didn't mention if this was a specific server in your post.

I guess that rules out the UMMs.

Please confirm that you deleted the files in the Config directory as previously suggested

This is a known bug and happens in the Opt-In sometimes too.

I think this is the common lag spike that we all get from time to time and depends on the server you are playing on and player pings.

    Other things you can try;
1.Run AAGame.exe in Administrative Mode and/or Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
2.Go to the game under Steam and Verify Game Cache.

    Hope you get it fixed.

    Lo io io
Well it said one error while verification. It did something. After checking again, it said no errors.
But maps dont load. Thanks for suggestions :)
    I have low end pc
Processor Intel dual core 3ghz(8 months old)
    4gb ram
    inbuilt intel hd graphics
Maps worked fine in open beta so I do not think my low end pc is the cause.

Your video card is not supported.

You do not meet the minimum system requirements.

Please understand, not supported does not mean the game won't work sometimes or for some people. The hardware does not perform a function required by the game, as such, it may start/stop working at anytime.

Yes, but the open beta worked. I do not think my low end pc is the reason.
Maps such as Cold front, Intercept(which have more detail) work. So lockdown must work.
I do think I messed up the downloads relating to the maps.
I've played games which is graphically more demanding without issues.

Downloading the final version fixed it @m_hermann :)

I'm impressed that you got the intel video to work

I had these slow downs too on the final version. I will try deleting it and re-downloading it.

It always worked in open beta. Why should it not work in the final?

Historically, Intel video has been reserved for word processing and e-mail. Consumers getting upset when their brand new PC can't play any high end games. It's nice to see that some Intel offerings are able to perform.

It plays a lot of games on low settings. Crysis series on Medium settings.
