AALauncher cant login

COnsequenttely when My game loads, after i tweaked it to open in administrator mode because steam couldn't open it, I can't see my name in the profile nor ay servers. Manual IP entry doesn't work also :(

what should I do

Computer is up to spec never had a problem with aapg normal version.

windows 7 ultimate

    Ahh and when launcher opens it complains it couldnt connect to steam !! althgough steam is open and i can see all my firends and stuff

    still facing this problem? its almost similar to mine only i can log in from AA launcher but my problem is i cant authorize on any server with players on it. and my name in game appears as "Player" for me.

    Check to see if somehow AAGame.exe and AALauncher32.exe and maybe the Punkbuster files are not being allowed through your firewall...?
