Can't start BETA pre-realease (disk read error) on steam

Hi guys I downloaded the beta test of AAPG from steam, selecting beta pre-realease test and at 100% steam gives me an error of "disk read error". I thought it was from moving the servers yesterday but today i got the same error.

Any ideas why?

A few things to try:

Reboot Steam
Reboot PC
Verify the game cache (Right click the game, click properties, click local files, Verify integrity of game cache)

i think there should be a sticky about this.. theres a lot of people experiencing this.. i already told 10 mates how to fix it .. and i had this prob too...

When I did the third thing, it started downloading the whole game again after finishing (it said six things couldn't be verified or whatever). Is that what's supposed to happen?

My update went great smooth and kept most of my settings.
