American players can I ask you a question?

I would like to ask that you state the version of the game you play (opt in or open beta), time zone you live in, the time period that you play, and the number of NA servers (with players numbers you generally notice in those servers).

Example: OPT IN, -06:00 Central Time US, anytime between 1 AM- 6 AM, 1 to 2 servers 3/4s full closer to 1 am and I am lucky to even find a NA server with players in it by 6 am.

Why am I asking your for this information? I want to gather statistical data for a another topic.

For those who will help me out here I appreciate it.

I'd suggest seeing what you can get from gametracker's server stats. If you're particularly technically inclined, you could write your own server queries and collect info that way. SteamSpy can also be a resource for broader info on the game's players and activity (http://steamspy.com/app/203290), as can SteamCharts (http://steamcharts.com/app/203290).

Apologies if that all covers ground you've already crossed yourself.

If you can offer some hints for what you're trying to accomplish, this forum might be better in offering suggestions on how to approach that than as a raw source of data.

If you would still prefer polling the forum, I'd suggest crafting a short survey and posting a link (SurveyMonkey is a good free option). As a benchmark, I ran one about 10 months ago on player map preferences and got 70 responses (54% of respondents were in EU, 39% NA). Your mileage may vary.

Such a vague post on why you would need this info reminds me of when the Gardner asks us when are we going on a week long vacation.

Opt-in. Central Time zone 2100-0030 .. Usually 1 full server, 1 server 1/2-3/4 full and 3-5 servers that are less than half full. After midnight it usually drops down to 1 full or 3/4 server and rest are 1/2 or less. If i play past 0100 or 0200 then I'm lucky to be in a 3/4 full server and by 0200-0300 the euro players start joining so you're stuck playing against people with 200+ pings
