So I did a bit of a test regarding the FPS drop in this version, take a look at this video. Is this normal (in other games)? My fps drops like 200 when I have the simulation bullets turned off...With the simulation ON the drop seems so be less drastic.
I would imagine it has something to do with the impact effects creating a small smoke footprint that is hurting your fps. Everything involving smoke hurts fps apparently.
Having said that, I really like how it immerses players involved in a firefight, and would like to see the effect stay. That is, after it's optimized fr those whose fps it's affecting.

Anybody noticed that the shotgun fires the exact same non ADS as it does when ADS now? it also seems/feels a LOT tighter at range than it was before. I'd be interested in knowing if any damage values were changed in line with it?
I tested it in the opt-in at various ranges (offline and on) and the spread was near identical in both scenarios (other than the scatter pattern).. I'm would have to assume that’s surely not intentional?
I noticed shotgun seems like it got buffed and post earlier in this thread, but that is not my concern at all. My biggest concern is that the saw when crouched has 0 recoil. For the sound department, The sound has serious potential but its just not all there yet, like for example I can be blue stairs and hear a guy chicken, but won't hear a guy ambulance, this is just an example, not an exact occurance for me, it's hard to explain but sometimes you can hear guys from a good distance and other times you won't hear a guy in the room next to or same room for that matter.
EDIT: Also playing watchdog with this new sound engine is really really frustrating right now because you can't tell whats up and down. So you hear so much more, but have no clue if its up or down...It would prolly be easy to just play with no sound when I am in the building so I am not twitching everywhere.

The shotgun spreads don't change sighted or not. That is indeed intentional. The shot doesn't come out any differently depending on how the weapon is held. So why sight-up? Because when sighted the spread is centered around the reticle, when unsighted the spread center "floats" and can be off-center of the crosshair. Some quick offline testing should demonstrate this.
Its a gimme to the effectiveness of the shotgun, I always assumed sighting up no matter what weapon you had would ALWAYS yield a better more accurate result.. Now that’s nullified with Shotgun and there's no penalty to non ADS.. That’s not going to be going to down to well with recipeints of said non-ADS fire..
Use big circle crosshair.. Point and click.. Profit.

Will the History work in the Launcher? Mine stopped working over a year ago.
In this opt-in.. Click 'Launch Game' in the Launcher and then click 'Online' and click 'History' on top, there I see my latest games. Ten games so far for me.

btw, on sound, I feel like when a weapon fires, it often sounds like the next shot is cutting off the prior sound.
As an example, the first shot has a sound file that would be like 1.5 seconds, but the second shot fires 1 second later, so the last .5 second of the first sound gets cut off so that the second sound plays. It makes it sound odd.

Also, bomb defuse makes no noise now.
You could do that in real life, so it would make sense that it was intentional.
Ohh wow, so you can keep your weapon level, while looking through your optics when you jump through a window or over a fence in real life? I didn't know we were playing with super soldiers..
I haven't experienced it (I only played the first opt-in), so I didn't know that was the particular. I assumed it would be a no sights, less accurate form of fire.

Needs a spot in the team join screen to tell you how many players are on each team.
