and it's a map that the Devs won't really even need to spend time adjusting. They could literally just put it out the day after the competition ends... Unless they decide they want to create thermite grenades for the map

Keeds, keep in mind, the map played great as is back in the TWL ladder days. So I didn't want to veer away too much just yet. Also this version was used in Euro league ladder not long ago. I don't disagree with you, but let's see how it plays out first, before changes are done.
