The "Good"

Not everything is bad, lets have a list of the good changes:

- New guns are nice, like the opfor optics
- A HUD that doesn't cause performance issues is great
- A back pack for obj is good, no more flag position giveaway
- picking up a PC instead of a flag was a nice change
- new camo's, and gun skins
- new sidearm
- A bleed out feature is nice, I think the timer could be shortened
- cool new slow motion explosion is nice
- A new map, even though its not everyone's taste is still a good addition
- I didn't have any lighting issues, so that's good
- having an actual Jet fly by was nice, not just the sound.. however way to loud
- Demorec

.. feel free to add something that's not on the list.

    I'll add some stuff on top of yours, even if you don't agree..

    - Titlescreen :)
    - Cool Ingame Browser (needs ability adding to see who is in servers, a playerlist)
    - Better looking UI (on the whole)
    - The new WWISE audio makes some things in the game sound awesome!.. far better than before anyway.
    - Nowhere near as many stutters as I used to get :) (I have still had a couple though :( )
    - Bleedout (timer) is much, MUCH better than the old infinite, incapacitated foetal pawn state.
    - FPS of game has improved on my PC :)
    - Reload/ready weapon animation on round start is a nice touch.
    - In-world spotting system is now 99% better, timer is perfect to avoid spam.
    - (reserved for future additions)
    If my trollery drives you crazy, you'd better put on your seatbelt.

    The game itself (minus networking) did seemed pretty well optimized. Great job on that.

    From my time playing last night, the game did seem more fluid and optimized (without any ini graphics tweaking). Perhaps the UI changes might have helped on that front.

    There has been a lot of cleanup in the UI/HUD code.

    Good thread Doba - There's a lot of great things the Devs have done:

    - C4 explosion is sweet
    - The addition of multiple bomb sites to maps is great and hopefully sets the standard for future maps
    - The weapon skins and optics are great, welcome customization.
    - The map "wear" and touches worked well
    - Demorec was introduced, you do not know how thankful we are for this
    - Bleedout feature is a good initial step forward. Although when the enemy secures you and the timer disappears, one knows an enemy is there.
    - Spotting timer to prevent abuse is great. Now i'll just spam it less frequently when looking at a large area :wink:
    - The new 1911 is sweet and a much needed addition
    - No more stutters, better optimization. I'd like to see a way to cap my max fps in the menu
    - No more flag! Thank you, a less obtrusive backpack is much better
    - Reload/ready animation at start of rounds is a nice touch. props to whoever thought of it.
    - Nice titlescreen
    - Less achievement and level up jargon while in-game.
    - The removal of smoke should help with communication for quick movement when deploying fogs. Although the fogs could now last maybe 2 or 3 seconds longer.
    - Redlines BDX changes are a step in the right direction.

    I would like to add that the new X-Ray vision on spectate is freakin amazing, and will make spectating a shout casted match so much more enjoyable. Whoever made this change should get a high five.

    I think they need to find a middle ground on the spotting. Either make it two misses in six seconds or one in three. There are times where you hit the button with an enemy in the middle of your screen but it "misses."

    Game feels better in this build in all areas imho, it would be interesting to see movement speed with nade out decreased a bit as well as nade throw time tiny bit increased.

    Haven't tested thoroughly but feels to me like the registry is a lot better. Way fewer times do I find myself wondering how someone is still alive in this build. I also feel like I'm killing people much faster in a lot of situations. Anyone else feel the same?

    You better play a little more. I've never felt reg to be working well in any build.

    Challenging myself to find some positive changes.

    Graphics seem much smoother, not that graphics have ever turned me onto or off from a game, but it's a big ticket item for a lot of people.
    Glad to finally see Opfor guns.
    The new map is pretty sweet, but I would like to see functional doors on a map for a change.
    Happy about the new bomb locations.
    Audio changes are okay.

    That's all that comes to mind

    *sigh* Am I the only one who had less FPS? :(
    Returning to the good :P
    + M1911 - love it
    + SLDG scope - I actually prefer it to the ACOG :P
    + new sound engine - amazing, just needs some tweaking
    + camo's - really nice, yet somehow useless since the opfor sees it all the same anyway
    + bleedout :D
    + Lock'n'load at the beginning of the round - welcome back, old friend!
